In HubSpot, you can search for tools and assets in your account, including CRM records, blog posts, marketing emails, dashboards, and specific account actions, with the global search bar in the top right-hand corner of your HubSpot account.

To filter your search results, click Filter next to the search bar, then select the checkboxes next to the results you want to filter for.

Below, learn which attributes can be used to search for different tools and assets. If you're searching within the CRM, learn more about how the CRM search functions.

The global search bar uses machine learning across multiple parameters to find matches on your records. When searching for CRM records, recorded calls, and tasks, you can search by the terms below. If you have an Enterprise subscription, users with Account access permissions can also search by custom single-line text, multi-line text, and number properties with Shown in search selected.
  • All CRM records can by searched by:
    • Record name (including first and last name for contacts)
    • Notes
    • Email subject
    • Associated tasks
    • Call logs
    • Meeting logs
  • Contacts can be searched by:
