HubSpot will automatically track any page that has the HubSpot tracking code installed on it. All HubSpot-hosted pages automatically include this code, and you can install the tracking code on your external site.

In addition to adding the tracking code to your external site, you will want to ensure that your external site domain(s) or subdomain(s) are added to your reports settings. Any domain or subdomain on this list will be seen as part of your site in HubSpot's reporting and visits between your HubSpot hosted and external sites will be filtered out of your sources referral traffic and other reporting.

Follow the steps below to define the list of domains and subdomains that you want to track in HubSpot.

Navigate to your account settings

In your HubSpot account, click your photo or avatar in the top right-hand corner, then click Settings.

Add domains you want to track

On the left, select Install Code & Tracking. Then click the Advanced Tracking tab.

In the Additional site domains section, confirm that the domains you want to limit visitor tracking to are listed in the table. Click +Add domain to add additional external domains and subdomains to track.

Once you've added your external domains, click Save at the bottom.
