HubSpot's default invoice properties

HubSpot has a number of default invoice properties to help you manage your invoices. In addition to these default properties, you can also create custom invoice properties to capture the information most relevant to your business needs. Property definitions
Below, review the list of default invoice properties and their definitions.
- Age category: the age category for the invoice, based on the number of days it has been outstanding.
- Allow partial payments: whether the buyer can pay less than the balance due.
- Allowed Payment Methods: the payment methods allowed for the invoice, such as credit or debit card or bank debit payments (e.g., ACH).
- Amount billed: the total amount billed on the invoice.
- Amount billed (pre-tax): the amount billed on the invoice before tax.
- Amount billed in company currency: the amount billed on the invoice in the company currency.
- Amount paid: the total value of payments associated with the invoice that haven't failed.
- Amount paid in company currency: the total value of payments associated with the invoice that haven't failed, in the company currency.
- Amount processing: the total value of payments associated with the invoice that are processing.
- Automated taxes on: whether automated taxes are turned on for the invoice.
- Balance due: the current balance due on the invoice.
- Balance due in company currency: the current balance due on the invoice, in the company currency.
- Billing frequency type: whether the invoice is part of a recurring series, such as a subscription.
- Brands: the brands assigned to the invoice.
- Card fee name: the name of the card fee applied at checkout.
- Comments: comments that have been added to the invoice during creation.
- Create date: the date and time at which the invoice was created. This value is automatically set by HubSpot and can't be modified.
- Currency: the invoice’s currency.
- Days overdue: the number of days the open invoice is overdue.
- Days paid late: the number of days after the due date that the invoice was paid.
- Discounts total: the sum of all line item-level and invoice-level discounts applied to the invoice.
- Due date: the invoice’s due date.
- Exchange rate: the exchange rate used to convert the invoice amount into the company currency.
- External Invoice Status: the customer-facing status of the invoice. The external status can be one of the following:
- Waiting to be sent: invoice has been created but not yet sent to the customer.
- Sent to customer: invoice has been sent to the customer.
- Partial payment made: a partial payment has been made against the invoice.
- External recipient: the invoice ID from an external accounting system when using an integration.
- Fees total: the sum of all fees applied to the invoice.
- Invoice billable: whether the invoice is billable.
- Invoice class: the invoice classification, typically synced from third-party accounting apps.
- Invoice Date: the date of the invoice.
- Invoice external create date/time: the date and time when the invoice was created in the third-party accounting app.
- Invoice link: the invoice URL, based on the domain and slug.
- Invoice Source: the system that created the invoice. The source can be HubSpot, Data Sync, Legacy QuickBooks, or Legacy Xero.
- Invoice Status: the current status of the invoice. The status can be one of the following:
- Invoice status details: additional details about the invoice status.
- Invoice Tool Source: the tool that was used to create the invoice.
- Invoice Tool Source ID: the ID of the tool used to create the invoice.
- Language: the language of the invoice, set when creating the invoice.
- Last reminder sent date: the last time an email reminder was sent to the customer. This value is automatically updated by HubSpot.
- Last sent date: the last time the invoice was sent to the buyer. This value is automatically updated by HubSpot when an invoice email is sent. This value isn't updated if you send an invoice in a manually written email or insert an invoice link into an email or message.
- Latest company name: the name of the most recently updated associated company.
- Latest contact email: the email of the most recently updated associated contact.
- Latest contact first name: the first name of the most recently updated associated contact.
- Latest contact last name: the last name of the most recently updated associated contact.
- Locale: the locale of the invoice, set when creating the invoice.
- Merged record IDs: the record IDs that have been merged into this invoice. This value is automatically set by HubSpot.
- net payment term: the number of days within which the invoice must be paid (e.g., Net 30).
- Number: the unique number associated with the invoice.
- Owner: the HubSpot owner of the invoice. By default, this is the user that created the invoice, or the payment link or quote that the invoice was created from.
- Owner assigned date: the most recent timestamp of when an owner was assigned to the invoice. This value is set automatically by HubSpot.
- Owner's main team: the main team of the invoice owner. This value is set automatically by HubSpot.
- Payment Collection Option: the payment collection option selected in the invoice editor.
- Payment Date: the date when the invoice was paid.
- Payment status: the payment status of the invoice.
- PDF Download Link: the PDF download link. Only available for finalized invoices.
- PO number: the purchase order number of the invoice, if one wset when the invoice was created.
- Received by recipient date: the date the buyer received the invoice.
- Received by recipient date (QuickBooks Online): the date the recipient received the invoice in QuickBooks Online.
- Recipient company city: the buyer’s company city, set when the invoice was created.
- Recipient company country: the buyer’s company country, set when the invoice was created.
- Recipient company country code: the buyer’s company country code, set when the invoice was created.
- Recipient company postal code: the buyer’s company postal code, set when the invoice was created.
- Recipient company state/region: the buyer’s company state/region, set when the invoice was created.
- Recipient company street address: the buyer’s company street address, set when the invoice was created.
- Recipient company street address 2: the second line of the buyer’s company street address, set when the invoice was created.
- Recipient shipping city: the shipping city of the recipient.
- Recipient shipping country: the shipping country of the recipient.
- Recipient shipping country code: the shipping country code of the recipient.
- Recipient shipping name: the shipping name of the recipient.
- Recipient shipping postal code: the shipping postal code of the recipient.
- Recipient shipping state/region: the shipping state or region of the recipient.
- Recipient shipping street address: the shipping street address of the recipient.
- Recipient shipping street address 2: the second line of the shipping street address of the recipient.
- Record ID: the unique ID for the invoice. This value is automatically set by HubSpot.
- Record source: how the invoice was created.
- Record source detail 1: the first level of detail about how the invoice was created.
- Record source detail 2: the second level of detail about how the invoice was created.
- Record source detail 3: the third level of detail about how the invoice was created.
- Sender company address: the street address of the company sending the invoice.
- Sender company address line 2: the second line of the street address of the company sending the invoice.
- Sender company city: the city of the company sending the invoice.
- Sender company country: the country of the company sending the invoice.
- Sender company domain: the domain of the company sending the invoice.
- Sender company logo url: the URL of the company logo for the company sending the invoice.
- Sender company name: the name of the company sending the invoice.
- Sender company state: the state of the company sending the invoice.
- Sender company zip: the ZIP code of the company sending the invoice.
- Store payment method at checkout: whether buyers can store their payment method at checkout.
- Subtotal: the sum of all line items on the invoice, including line item-level taxes.
- Tax ID: the account tax ID listed on the invoice, including the tax ID type and number.
- Taxes total: the sum of all taxes applied to the invoice.
- Time Zone: the time zone of the dates on the invoice, as set by the account’s time zone setting.
- Title: the invoice title.
