Why are images not displaying by default in my email client?

There are a few reasons why an email client may not display images by default:
  • Email clients do not always show images by default due to security settings and require users to click to download pictures in an email.
  • Some email clients have stricter security settings than others. This can mean that some images that you've added to your email will show while other images will not. An Email Filtering Service could be causing this, more information about this can be found here.
  • When editing your email, check that you've enabled the web page version of your email to allow users with strict email settings to view your email images.
  • Alternatively, many email clients will not render very large images (10+ MB).
