Access HubSpot’s sales tools directly from your inbox with the HubSpot Sales Chrome extension for Gmail or the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in for Outlook. Select your sales extension or add-in based on your email host and client:

  • Gmail in Chrome: install the HubSpot Sales Chrome extension.
  • Outlook: install the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in if you have a Microsoft 365-hosted email account and use Outlook for Mac, Outlook for Windows, or Outlook on the web. The HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in supports the classic and new versions of Outlook.

HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in

Access your sales tools directly from your Outlook inbox with the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in. There are two ways to install the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in:

Limitations and considerations

Before installing the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in, note the following limitations and considerations.

  • To use the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-on, you must have a Microsoft 365-hosted email account (e.g., Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Microsoft 365 Business Essentials, or Microsoft 365 Personal).
    • If your email account is hosted on a different provider, you cannot install the Office 365 add-in, regardless of whether you use Outlook to access your email.
    • If you don't have a Microsoft 365 account but use Outlook for Desktop on Windows, you can install the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-on instead.
  • Outlook installed from the Microsoft Store is not compatible with the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in. Check your Outlook version to ensure it's Click-to-run.
  • Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy is not compatible with the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in, because GoDaddy does not support third party apps.
  • Terminal server environments are not supported for the Office 365 add-in.
  • Do not install both the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in and the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in on the same device. These add-ins will conflict.

Centrally deploy the add-in

Microsoft 365 admins can centrally deploy the add-in to all Microsoft 365 users in your organization. When the add-in is centrally deployed, all Microsoft 365 users on the domain will automatically get the add-in, with no additional steps required.

Follow Microsoft's instructions to publish Office add-ins using centralized deployment via the Office 365 admin center. On the Centralized deployment step, select I want to add an Add-In from the Office Store, and search for HubSpot Sales.

Please note: when the add-in is centrally deployed, you may need to relaunch Outlook to see the add-in icon appear on the ribbon of the app. Outlook add-ins can take 24-72 hours to display.

Install the add-in individually

You can install the Microsoft 365 add-in individually in your account. If you have multiple email accounts in Outlook, you have to install the add-in in each email account where you want to access the sales tools.

  1. Navigate to Microsoft AppSource.

  2. Click Get It Now.

  2. You'll be taken to your Office 365 account. In the dialog box, click Add.
