Navigate to Social Settings
From your HubSpot Dashboard, navigate to Social > Social Settings.
You can connect the following social media accounts to HubSpot (click on the social account below to skip directly to that step):
If you have already connected your accounts, you can skip ahead to read about configuring options for each account.
Before clicking the Connect an account button, first make sure you're logged into the social accounts you're about to integrate with your HubSpot.
How to add a Twitter account
Click the Connect an account button and choose Twitter. (If you have already connected social accounts, this button will appear at the top left-hand side of the Social Settings screen and will say "Connect another account" instead.)
Click the Authorize on Twitter button.
HubSpot does not store your password, but if you change your Twitter password, you will need to re-add your Twitter account to HubSpot.
Click the Authorize App button.
For example, if you have connected your personal Twitter account already, and are trying to connect your company's Twitter account, clicking "Connect another account" will reauthorize HubSpot's existing connection with your personal Twitter account if that is the account your are logged into in your browser. Instead, open an incognito window and go through the above steps to authorize your company's Twitter account in HubSpot.
Once this has been successfully set up, you'll be sent back to your Social Settings where you will see a message letting you know this account has been successfully added.
How to add a Facebook account
Click the Connect an(other) account button and choose Facebook. You can alternatively, click the Facebook icon at the top of your Social Settings.
Click the Authorize on Facebook button. If you are not already logged in to Facebook, you must login with your personal Facebook credentials. If you are an admin on a Facebook business page, that page will be connected to HubSpot as well.
How to Add a LinkedIn account
Click the Connect an(other) account button and choose LinkedIn. You can alternatively, click the LinkedIn icon at the top of your Social Settings.
Click on the Authorize on Linkedin button.
Click on the Allow access button.
You will then see a confirmation message that the Linkedin account was added and see your LinkedIn account present within the list of associated accounts.
Click the Add LinkedIn Groups button decide which groups you want to add into HubSpot.
How to add a Google+ account
Click the Connect an(other) account button and choose Google+. You can alternatively, click the Google+ icon at the top of your Social Settings.
Click Authorize on Google+.
If you have multiple Google accounts, you will need to select which account to authorize.
On the next screen, click Allow in order to give HubSpot access.
You'll then see your Google+ profile picture and any associated Google+ pages display on your Social Settings screen.
How to add a Xing account
Click the Connect an(other) account button and choose Xing. You can alternatively, click the Xing icon at the top of your Social Settings.
Click the Authorize on Xing button.
Enter your Xing credentials and click the Log In button. (If you're already logged into Xing within the same browser, you won't have to log in again so you can skip this step.)
Click the Allow button.
You will see a confirmation message at the top of the Social Settings page and your Xing account listed.
How to add a YouTube account
You can add your YouTube account to be used within a follow me module in HubSpot. Learn more about implementing the Follow Me module on your HubSpot page here.
Click the Follow Me link from your Social Settings page.
Enter your YouTube page's URL into the input, under Additional links, and then click the Add button.
You will see your YouTube account saved in the YouTube section of Follow Me Module.
How to add a Blog account
You can add a link to your external blog's RSS feed to be used within a follow me module in HubSpot. (Learn more about implementing the Follow Me Module on your HubSpot page here.)
Click the Follow Me Module link from your Social Settings page.
Enter your blog's RSS feed under Additional links. If your blog is hosted on the COS, you can get your RSS feed by adding /rss.xml to your blog's url. Once you've selected your option, click the Add button.
How to add a Pinterest account
You can add your Pinterest account to be used within a follow me module in HubSpot. (Learn more about implementing the Follow Me Module on your HubSpot page here.)
Click the Follow Me Module link from your Social Settings page.
Enter your Pinterest profile's URL into the input, under Additional links, and then click the Add button.
You will see your Pinterest profile saved in the Pinterest account section of Follow Me Module.
Configure the options for your connected accounts
Once your account is connected, you'll have the option to establish the types of connections you want between HubSpot and your pages. To enable these actions, simply check off or switch on the action next to each listed profile.
You can insert a Follow Me module into HubSpot pages and embed it on non-HubSpot pages. It includes icons for your different social network pages so that those who view your pages can click on them and be linked right to them. You can learn how to add the Follow Me module to your COS templates by reading this article.
To display an icon for a connected account in the Follow Me module, click on the Follow Me Module link within your Social Settings Page and select the desired accounts.

You can configure your connected social media accounts to automatically post a link to a blog article when it is published. If your blog is hosted on HubSpot's COS, go to Content > Content Settings > Blog. Choose the blog that you would like to modify, and then under the General Blog Options, check the box next to Enable social media auto-publishing.
Then go to Social > Social Settings and switch the Auto-publish button to ON next to the social media accounts for which you want to enable auto-posting.
Allow posting to personal accounts
By default, HubSpot's Publishing tool will only list your connected social media business accounts. Certain social media platforms allow you to post directly to personal accounts as well. To enable this option, click Allow posting to personal account. This option will only show under accounts where this feature is available.
