BetaCopy assets to another HubSpot account with multi-account management (BETA)

Asset copying, a feature of multi-account management, allows you to copy automated marketing emails, forms, and lists to other HubSpot accounts in your multi-account management organization. 

Before you get started

Before you begin working with this feature, make sure to fully understand what steps should be taken ahead of time, as well as the limitations of the feature and potential consequences of using it. 

Understand requirements

• You must have set and configured up a multi-account management organization.
  • To set up multi-account management, you must have a HubSpot account in your organization that has Marketing Hub Enterprise. Some functions within multi-account management require subscriptions to other hubs. 
• Once your multi-account management organization is set up, assets can be copied between accounts that have a Professional or Enterprise subscription for any product (e.g., Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, etc). 

• You must be a Super Admin in the account that you're copying assets from, and in the destination account that'll receive the asset.

Understand limitations & considerations

• When copying a marketing email, only automated marketing emails and their content will be copied. Non-automated marketing emails won't be copied.
• When copying forms, form names and fields, but not the data collected through them, will be copied. Only forms created using the legacy form editor are able to be copied at this time.
• When copying lists, only the list definition will be copied, not the CRM records that are part of the list in the source account.

Copy assets

To set up asset copying:

• In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
• Under Organization Management, click Multi-Account.
• Click the Asset Copying tab.
• Click Start copying.
• Select the account you'd like to copy assets to. If you can't see the account you'd like to copy to, make sure it is configured for asset copying in your organization.
• Select the checkboxes next to the assets you'd like to copy, then click Next.

• Select the checkboxes next to the assets you'd like to copy to the destination account.
  • If an asset uses a custom property that doesn't exist in the destination account, there'll be a column showing the number of custom properties that'll be created in the destination account as part of the asset copying process. Click the number to see more information on the specific custom properties. 

• Click Next.

• Review the assets you're copying, then click Start copy.
• The progress of the copy, along with previously completed asset copies will display in the Copy history table.

Copy automated marketing emails from the index page

As well as being able to copy marketing emails from multi-account management settings, you can also copy them from the marketing emails index page.

To copy emails from the index page:

• In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
• Click the checkboxes next to the emails you'd like to copy, then click Copy to another account.

• Choose the destination account, then click Next.
• Review the assets you're copying, then click Confirm.
