Set an account's fiscal year in HubSpot

Set your fiscal year to segment your data based on your company's calendar.
You can track goals and forecasts according to your account's fiscal year, even if it doesn't align with the default January to December time frame.
Change an account's fiscal year
By default, your account's fiscal year is set to January to December.
To change your fiscal year:
- In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Account Defaults.
- Click the Fiscal year dropdown menu, then select the time frame that best represents your fiscal year.
- To save your changes, click Save.
Filter by fiscal year
CRM records
You can use your fiscal year to filter CRM records. For example, to see contacts that have been created during the current fiscal quarter:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Contacts.
- Add a filter to your contact dashboard by clicking More filters.
- In the right panel, in the is dropdown menu, select This fiscal quarter so far.
- Click Apply filter.
Your contacts dashboard will now display only the contacts who have been created so far in this fiscal quarter.
Reports
You can use your fiscal year to filter reports that were created using the custom report builder and that use a date picker property.
- Follow the steps to create a custom report.
- In the date picker field, select the Use fiscal year checkbox.
