Check if a contact opted out of email communication

Check a contact record to see if they've opted out of all emails or a specific subscription typeYou can also export a list of all unsubscribed contacts in your account from your email dashboard.

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Contacts > Contacts.
  • Click the name of the contact.
  • In the left sidebar, scroll down to the Communication Subscriptions section.
  • If the contact has opted out of all email, it will stated that [Contact name] is opted out of email.
  • Otherwise, the Communication Subscriptions section will show the subscriptions the contact has opted into with your HubSpot account.
