Restore deleted activities logged on a record

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

You can restore deleted activities such as notes, calls, meetings and tasks logged on a record. The deletion must have occurred within 90 days. Beyond 90 days, the activity will be permanently deleted.

Permissions required Add and edit users or Super Admin permissions are required to restore deleted activities.

Please note: email activities can only be restored from their index page.

You can access deleted activities by navigating to any record in your HubSpot account. To restore deleted activities:

  1. Navigate to your records (e.g., In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Contacts.).
  2. Click the name of a record.
  3. In the upper left, click Actions, then select Restore activity.
  4. The Restore Activities page will open in a new browser tab. 
  5. Click the date dropdown menus to filter the timeframe you want to view. By default, it will be set to the last 90 days.
  6. Select the checkboxes next to the engagements that you want to restore.
  7.  To bulk select deleted activities:
    • Select the checkbox at the top of the table to select all engagements on a page.
    • Click Select all records.

  8. In the upper right, click Restore.
  9. In the dialog box, enter the number of activities to be restored and click Restore.
