In HubSpot, you can add an email sending domain for DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail) email authentication, which is used to verify a sender's identity. Part of this process involves your domain host validating the email domain. You can verify that the TXT (Text) record has been connected successfully using a public query tool.
To verify your email sending domain to make sure it has been set up properly, please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to https://mxtoolbox.com/dkim.aspx.
- In the Domain Name box, enter your domain (i.e. stylebidder.com)
- In the Selector box, enter "smtpapi"
- Click DKIM Lookup.
- In the green box, you should see a value that matches the TXT Record Value provided by the HubSpot domain manager as seen here.
