Do I need to add HubSpot to our SPF record?

  • HubSpot sends email on your behalf using our shared email servers. SPF is used to verify the identity of that server, so we already have an SPF policy to cover this shared system. Therefore you don't have to add anything to your DNS.
  • Unless you have signed up for a Dedicated IP with HubSpot, no changes are required because your domain isn't looked at during the authentication process.
  • If you're looking for email authentication but don't qualify for a dedicated IP, consider DKIM email authentication for an added layer of security.
