Why didn't the updates I made to my custom Salesforce field carry over to HubSpot?

When changes are made to a previously-synced field in Salesforce, HubSpot will not automatically update the mapping. This includes changes like relabeling a Salesforce field, editing the data type, or augmenting an existing field (like adding picklist choices). To update HubSpot and see these changes:

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Account MenuIntegrations.
  • Click Settings in the Salesforce section.
  • Select Contact Field Mappings in the left sidebar menu.
  • Click on the gear icon next to the mapping and select Refresh mapping.

Please note: if you update your field's name (instead of label) in Salesforce, you'll need to create a new mapping in HubSpot. You can learn more about mapping fields here
