What does 'Missing Property' mean in my Field Mappings page in HubSpot?

Last updated: October 6, 2015

  • This message is displayed when a mapping is defined for a field, but the HubSpot property does not exist
  • To fix the mapping, navigate to Contacts > Contacts Settings > Create Property and create a property with the exact name for the HubSpot property that is shown on the field mappings page
  • If you no longer wish to use the field, you can also delete the mapping from Salesforce
    • To do so, in Salesforce, navigate to HubSpot Settings > HS-0000 > Go to list (#)
    • Find the mapping that contains the names displayed in HubSpot and delete it
    • This will remove the row from your HubSpot Field Mappings screen
