Report translation issues in HubSpot

HubSpot offers software, services, and support in a number of different languages. If you've noticed any copy or translation issues, you can report the issue using HubSpot's Copy & Translation Bug Reporting extension on Google Chrome or any Chromium-based browsers. 

To report a translation issue:
  • Click to install the HubSpot Copy & Translation Bug Reporting extension.
  • In the Chrome Web Store, click Add to chrome
  • Log in to your HubSpot account
  • On the page with the translation issue, click the extension icon
  • In the dialog box, review your submission details. By default, details such as your account's HubID, language, and the page's submission URL will be automatically populated. 
     


 

  • In the Issue description field, enter your issue description. Be specific with your feedback. For example, including details of where the incorrect translation is and what the correct translation should be. Examples of common issues can include:
    • Typos and confusing copy
    • Unclear or incorrect translations
    • Truncations
    • Incorrect capitalization 
    • Incorrect formatting of dates, numbers, times, etc.
    • English copy in a non-English interface

Please note: refrain from providing any personal or sensitive information in the Description field. 

  • In the Screenshot section, click Attach screenshot to automatically attach a screenshot of the page. You will see a preview of your screenshot before submission.
    • Screenshots submitted via the extension will include the display area of your active browser tab.
    • If you've taken an incorrect screenshot, to take a different screenshot, scroll to the correct area on your page, and click Attach screenshot again. 
    • Browser UI elements such as the search bar or any bookmarks will not be included. 
  • To allow the HubSpot team to contact you for any follow-up questions, select the Yes, I agree to be contacted checkbox. 
  • Once you've filled out the form, click Submit. Your translation issue may take some time to process. Reports received are screened and prioritized based on the severity of the issues and the resources available for resolution.
  • To reset all form fields to the default and clear the existing screenshot, click Reset form fields
     

 

Please note: use of this extension is covered by HubSpot’s Privacy Policy. The utmost care is taken to keep your data safe and secure. Reports submitted via this extension are anonymized as much as possible (excluding portal-specific information). None of the submitted information will be shared outside of HubSpot and access within HubSpot will be tightly controlled. The data you submit will only be used for the purposes of improving HubSpot’s translations and user experience, and will be permanently deleted after 28 days.
