Connect an app to your HubSpot account

With the HubSpot App Marketplace, you can search for and integrate tools you need for your business with your HubSpot account. All apps in the App Marketplace are reviewed and certified by HubSpot's team of developers.
Find an app
To find an app to connect to your HubSpot account:
- In your HubSpot account, click the Marketplace icon marketplace in the top navigation bar, then select App Marketplace.
- Locate an app by using the search bar to search by business need or app name, or browse curated selections in the left sidebar.
- Click the app to view more information about it.
If your HubSpot account's default language is set to Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Dutch, or Italian, your search results will show any listings in that language first.
Please note: HubSpot has open APIs, meaning providers can build and support their own apps for HubSpot outside of the HubSpot App Marketplace. To be listed on the App Marketplace, app listings must be submitted to and approved by HubSpot.
Review app details
On the app listing page, you'll find the following details:
- In the Overview section, you can review details of the app such as the app provider name, total install numbers, category, and included features.
- The Requirements section shows the necessary HubSpot subscription requirements to install the app, as well as any app-side subscription requirements.
- In the Resources section, you'll find links to support documentation and setup guides, along with the provider's contact information. Apps provided by HubSpot App Partners are supported by the provider, while apps built by HubSpot are supported by HubSpot.
- The Data Privacy section indicates whether HubSpot's privacy policy applies to this app and links to relevant provider documentation where applicable.
In the Pricing section, you'll find available plan options for the app.
- If the app offers monthly and yearly billing, click to toggle the Monthly/Yearly switch to see the monthly price for each billing cycle.
- To see more pricing information, click See all pricing options.
- A unidirectional arrow indicates that data will only be synced one way, either to or from HubSpot.
- A bidirectional arrow indicates that data will be synced back and forth between HubSpot and the app.
In the Reviews section, read through customer reviews of the app.
Connect an app
To connect an app to your HubSpot account:
- Click Install app in the top-right corner of the app listing page. You’ll be guided through the provider’s connection flow, which may include logging into the connected app account and approving any necessary permissions. If the Install app button is grayed out, the app has already been connected to your HubSpot account.
- For help connecting the app, click Setup guide.
- If you do not have the needed permissions to connect an app, click Request to install.

- In the dialog box, click the Administrator dropdown menu and select an account administrator Then, click Send email. The selected account administrator will receive an email with your request for the appropriate HubSpot user permissions to connect the app.
Users must be either a super admin or have App Marketplace Access permissions to connect apps to their HubSpot account. In some cases, further permissions are required to connect certain apps.
Please note: make sure you have turned off any ad blockers before installing an app.
Get support for a connected app
In the Details section of the Overview tab on the app listing page, review the app's provider. If the provider is HubSpot, you can contact HubSpot Support for any issues with installing or using the app. If the provider is a third-party company, you must contact that provider for any support relating to installing or using the app.
To contact a provider's support team, review the channels available in the Resources and [Provider] Support sections on the app listing page.
Review alerts for your connected apps
You can view all your connected apps and any alerts on the Connected Apps page.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Data Management > Integrations.
- Alerts will display in the Alerts column, next to the corresponding app.
- Hover over the app to view the error message and steps to resolve
Use connected apps in workflows
When you connect an app that includes workflow functionalities, you'll be able to use those actions in your workflows.
To add app actions to a workflow:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automations > Workflows.
- Click the name of a workflow, or create a new workflow.
- Click the plus icon + to add a workflow action.
- In the right panel, any newly integrated actions will appear under the name of the integration. Click the name of the action to add it to your workflow.
- Set up the details for your action. When you're ready to add it to the workflow, click Save.
To connect an app through the workflows tool:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automations > Workflows.
- Click the name of a workflow, or create a new workflow.
- Click the plus icon + to add a workflow action.
- In the right panel, click the Connect an app tab.
- Search for the app that you want to connect to, then click the app name.
- In the dialog box, click Connect, then proceed with the app connection process.
- Depending on the app, you may be brought to the app's App Marketplace listing page. To proceed from the listing page, click Sign in to connect app in the upper right.
Once the app has been connected, you'll see the app's available actions listed in the Choose an action sidebar. Learn more about what connected app actions are available in workflows.
Uninstall an app
To disconnect an app from your HubSpot account:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Data Management > Integrations.
- Click Actions on the app you want to disconnect, then click Uninstall.
- In the dialog box, type “uninstall” in the text field and click Uninstall.
