After you set up the payments tool or connect your Stripe account for payment processing, you can set up a dashboard to report on revenue earned. Use these reports to analyze total gross revenue across all of your payments, top products, and top performing sales reps.
You can further customize these reports, as well as create your own custom payments reports using the custom report builder.
Create a payments dashboard
To create a payments revenue dashboard:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Reporting > Dashboards.
- In the upper right, click Create dashboard.
- Under Dashboard templates, select the Gross Payment Revenue dashboard.
- In the right sidebar, view the reports that are included in the dashboard. You can remove specific reports by clicking the checkbox next to the report. Then, click Next.
- Give the dashboard a name, and set which users can access the dashboard.
- Click Create dashboard. The dashboard will then be added to your dashboards, and a success notification will appear with a link to the dashboard.

To navigate to the dashboard:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Reporting > Dashboards.
- In the upper left, click the dashboard name and select the dashboard you’ve created.

Reports included in the dashboard
Below, learn more about the reports included in the Gross Payment Revenue dashboard.
- Gross payment revenue by current year: the total gross revenue from payments this year so far.
- Gross payment revenue by quarter: breaks down the This year’s gross revenue report by quarter.
- Gross payment revenue by current month: revenue from payments this month so far. Only payments with a known Gross amount property are included.
- Customer payments by month: the number of contacts who have paid through the payments tool during the last 365 days, broken down by month.
- Gross payment revenue split by payment type over time: revenue from payments over the last 365 days, broken down by one-time and recurring payments.
- Gross payment revenue top reps by current quarter: total payments collected by sales rep during the current quarter so far. Only payment revenue associated with deals will be included, with the sum of owned deals assigned to each rep.
- Gross payment revenue from top selling products with one-time payment: revenue from the top performing products sold this year so far, broken down by number of times sold and gross revenue. Does not include recurring payments.
- Gross payment revenue from top selling products with recurring payments: revenue from the top performing recurring products sold this year so far, broken down by number of times sold and gross revenue. Does not include one-time payments.
- Gross payment revenue from lowest selling products with payment breakdown: revenue from products that have generated the least amount of revenue this year so far, broken down by one-time/initial and recurring payments.
- Gross payment revenue from lowest selling products: revenue from products that have generated the least amount of revenue this year so far.
