Example use cases
The following examples outline the different ways you can use meeting-based workflows:
- Set up a workflow to automatically update a deal stage after a meeting.
- Set up a workflow to create a deal record anytime a demo meeting is booked. Then, automatically assign the deal to the meeting owner.
Create a meeting-based workflow
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automation > Workflows.
- In the upper right, click Create workflow > From scratch.
- To set up a meeting-based workflow before selecting any enrollment triggers:
- In the left panel, click Skip trigger and choose eligible records at the bottom.
- Search for and select Meeting.
- In the top right, click Save and continue.
- Alternatively, to trigger a workflow when a meeting is created:
- Click to expand the Data values section. Then, click Record Created.
- Search for and select Meeting.
- Continue setting up your event enrollment trigger.
- Continue setting up your workflow.
