How do I mention someone in the CRM?

In the HubSpot CRM, you can add notes to contact records. It can be helpful to tag another member of your team in your note to make them aware of it. To mention someone in your note:

  • Navigate to HubSpot Sales > Contacts.
  • From the Contacts dashboard, click on the name of the contact.
  • In the New note tab, add your message. Type @ and begin to type your team member's 
  • A dropdown will appear with all the user's in your account. Select the user to tag them in your note. 
  • Click Save note

Mentions work in any note taking fields in HubSpot CRM (on contact and company records, deals and tasks.) The user you've mentioned will receive an email notifying them.
