In HubSpot, you can add notes to contact records. It can be helpful to tag or @mention a team member in your note to make them aware of it.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Contacts > Contacts.
- Click the name of the contact.
- On the New note tab, add your message. Type @ and begin typing your team member's name. A dropdown menu will appear with all the users in your account. Select the user to tag them in your note.
- Click Save note.
Mentions work in any note fields in HubSpot (on contacts, companies, deals, tasks, or tickets). The mentioned user will receive an email and in-app notification.
