Create a call queue in the CRM

You can create a call queue in the HubSpot CRM using task queuesThis queue allows you to preselect contacts that you would like to call one after another.

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Sales > Tasks.
  • On the Tasks screen, select the Table view at the top of the screen.
  • Click Add a queue.

  • Enter a Queue name, then click Save

Now you can add contacts to your task queue:

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Contacts > Contacts.
  • Use the checkboxes to select the contact(s) you want to add to your call queue. Use the checkbox in the header row to select all of the contacts on the current page.
  • Once you've selected your contacts, click the More dropdown menu and select Create tasks.contacts-select-contacts-to-add-to-a-queue
  • In the slide-in panel on the right, enter your task details:
    1. If you don't want to use the default task title, click Use a custom title, then Add a title.  
    2. Click the Type dropdown menu and select Call
    3. Click the Assigned to dropdown menu and select a HubSpot user to assign the tasks to. 
    4. Click the Due date dropdown menu and select a task due date.  
    5. Click the Queue dropdown menu and select the queue you just created. tasks-create-a-task-queue
  • Click Create
  • To view your call queue and start calling your contacts, navigate to Sales Tasks, then select your queue from the left sidebar. Click Start queue in the top right. 

  • You will then be brought to the first contact in your list. Skip this contact by clicking Skip in the upper right corner. To make a call, click either Call from browser or Call from phone.

  • After the call, select a call outcome and enter any notes.
  • Click Save call and complete task when you are finished.

  • Click Next in the upper right corner to move to the next contact in the queue.
  • When you're done, click Finish in the top right corner to complete the call queue.
