After you install the HubSpot Sales chrome extension or Office 365 add-in, you can retroactively log emails you've sent or received directly in your inbox. You can associate the email with any CRM records, including contacts, companies, and deals.
Please note:
- Emails can only be logged and email opens can only be tracked for contacts with an assigned legal basis for data processing.
- This feature is not currently available in the Outlook Desktop client.
- You can only log emails sent to a user's specific email address. Logging emails sent to Google group addresses is not supported.
- When using this feature, non-inline attachments (i.e., files included by clicking Attach in an email client) will not be logged to the CRM, and thus will not appear in the Attachments section of the associated record.
