In HubSpot, you can edit your records in bulk. This includes your contacts, companies, deals, tickets, custom objects, and calls.
For example, you can edit records in bulk to:
If you're in the board format for deals and tickets, switch to the table view. To do this, in the upper left, click the listView table icon.
Select the records you want to edit. You can apply a view to your table to filter out the records you want to edit.
To edit a few individual records, select the checkboxes next to the records you want to edit.
To edit all of the records on your current page, select the checkbox at the top left of the table. To select all of the records in the filter, click the Select all [number] [records] link.
At the top of the table, you can select:
Assign: select to assign the selected records to a new user. In the dialog box, select the user and click Assign.
Edit: select to edit the values of a specific property in these records.
In the dialog box, click the Property to update dropdown menu and select the property you want to edit.
In the field that appears, enter a new value for the selected property.
Click Update. This will overwrite the old values in the property for these records.
Please note: bulk editing a multiple checkbox property will not add the new option to the existing option. In a bulk edit, the new values will overwrite the existing values.
Create tasks: select to add a task to each selected record. In the right panel, enter values to create your tasks. This option will only create tasks for records selected on the current page, even if all records, including those on other pages, are selected.
For company records, at the top of the table, you can also select Add to Static List. In the dialog box, click the Search dropdown menu and select the static list you want to add the companies to, then click Add.
