Connect Breeze Agents to external business systems with HubSpot MCP Client

Use HubSpot MCP Client to connect Breeze Agents in Breeze Studio to external systems through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This allows agents to access live business data and perform actions across supported applications without requiring custom integrations or code.

For example, a revenue operations team can connect a Breeze Agent in HubSpot to Gong and Notion to analyze customer conversations and generate account planning summaries.

Supported MCP Servers

HubSpot MCP Client supports the following MCP Servers and actions in Breeze Studio Agents:

• Notion: query and update databases and pages.
• Atlassian: retrieve and interact with Jira issues and Confluence content.
• Asana: view and manage tasks, projects, and timelines.
• Zapier: trigger and monitor automations across apps.
• G2: find real-time software reviews, ratings, and competitor information from the largest B2B software marketplace. This helps your team research tools, compare competitors, and make informed buying decisions.
• Linear: create, update, assign, and manage issues, projects, and sprints directly through natural language, optimizing engineering and product team processes directly within HubSpot.
• Gong: query sales call recordings and transcripts to analyze customer conversations, find competitive mentions, identify deal risks, and get coaching insights from your revenue intelligence data.
• Amplitude: analyze product analytics, user behavior, A/B test results, and feature flag performance through natural language queries. 

Please note: each supported MCP Server has its own configuration requirements and capabilities. It’s recommended that you review the information on the website for each supported MCP Server above.

Connect Breeze Agent with HubSpot MCP Client

The process for connecting HubSpot MCP Client may vary slightly depending on the MCP Server you want to connect to. For example, some MCP Servers (such as Notion and Asana) use an OAuth-based connection, while others (such as Zapier) use a tokenized URL connection. 

OAuth-based connection 

OAuth is the standard way to connect HubSpot to an MCP Server. This process may vary slightly between MCP Servers but generally follows these steps:

1. In your HubSpot account, click More, then navigate to Breeze > Breeze Studio. If More doesn't appear in your account, navigate to Breeze > Breeze Studio directly.
2. Navigate to the Agents tab. 
3. Hover over the agent you want to edit. Then click the menu icon and select Configure.
4. In the top right, click the menu icon and select Clone to clone the agent. 
5. In the What this agent can do section, click Add tool. 

6. In the right panel, click the MCP Servers tab. 

7. Hover over the MCP Server you want to connect. Then click Connect and add. 
8. Follow the on-screen prompts to authorize the connection.

Tokenized URL connection (Zapier)

Some MCP Servers, like Zapier, allow you to configure your own set of tools rather than a standard group. For these connections, you'll need to supply a custom URL provided by the vendor.

1. Navigate to the Zapier MCP page.
2. In the top left, click + New MCP Server. 
3. Click the MCP Client dropdown menu and select Other. 
4. Enter a name for the MCP Server in the Name field. 
5. Click Create MCP Server. 
6. In the Tools section, select the tools you want the MCP Server to use.

Please note: while MCP connections offer a wide range of tools, it’s recommended that you select only the tools needed for your agent's tasks.

7. At the top of the page, click the Connect tab. 
8. In the Transport section, ensure that Streamable HTTP is selected. 
9. In the Connect with server-specific URL section, click Copy URL next to the Server URL.

10. Back in your HubSpot account, navigate to Breeze > Breeze Studio. 
11. Navigate to the Agents tab.
12. Hover over the agent you want to edit. Then click the menu icon and select Configure.
13. In the What this agent can do section, click Add tool. 
14. In the right panel, click the MCP Servers tab. 
15. Hover over Zapier and click Connect and add.
16. In the pop-up window, in the Zapier MCP Server URL field, paste the Server URL you copied from Zapier. 

17. Then click Connect to Zapier.
