BetaEnroll records in workflows using CRM cards (BETA)

Manually enroll contacts, companies, deals, and tickets to workflows directly from a CRM record using automation cards. Before doing so, you'll need to add the automation card to your record view. Learn more about manually enrolling records in workflows.
Add an automation card
To add an automation card to the record view:
- In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.

In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Objects, then select the object.

At the top, click the Record Customization tab.
- To edit the default view, click Default view. Or, select a team view.
- In the right column, click Add card.
- In the right panel, click Create card. Then, select Enroll in workflow.
- Set up your automation card:
- Card title: enter a unique name for your card. This will be the display name for the card on a CRM record.
- Workflows: select which workflows will appear on the card. Only workflows that meet the following criteria will appear as options:
- The workflow must be created from the workflows tool.
- The workflow must be turned on.
- The workflow must match the object type (e.g., only contact-based workflows for contact records).
- After setting up your automation card, click Save. Then, click Save and exit. Learn more about customizing records.
Enroll records using the automation card
- Navigate to your records:
- Contacts: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Contacts.
- Companies: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Companies.
- Deals: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Deals.
- Tickets: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Tickets.
- On the record index page, locate the record and click the record name.
- In the record, locate your automation card and click the workflow that you'd like to enroll the contact in.
- The record will be manually enrolled in the workflow even if it does not meet the workflow's enrollment triggers. Learn more about manually enrolling records in workflows.
- When a record has enrolled successfully, a success message will appear on the card.
