Use the deal loss agent

With the deal loss agent, you can analyze how and why deals were marked as closed lost. The agent reviews closed-lost deals and their associated records across the timeline you set up. It then generates a report with details such as common loss patterns and action recommendations. You can also share the generated reports or download them as PDFs.

Before you get started

To use the deal loss agent, a Super Admin must:

  • Enroll in the Deal Loss Agent beta.
  • Toggle on the Give users access to generate AI tools and features, CRM data, Customer conversation data, Files data, and Give users access to Breeze Assistant switches in your AI settings.
  • Grant users Breeze studio or Super Admin permissions.

Set up the deal loss agent

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Breeze > Breeze Studio.
  2. Click Browse Marketplace.
  3. In the Search text field, enter deal, then click Deal Loss Agent.

  4. In the Deal Loss Agent section, click Add.
  5. In the Deal Loss Agent section, click Open.
  6. In the upper right, click Configure.
  7. In the What timeframe do you want to search across? text field, enter a value (e.g., Q2 2025).
  8. In the Guide how this agent behaves section, click Add tool to give the agent functionality such as retrieving document text from a file property.
  9. In the Guide how this agent behaves section, click Add knowledge to give the agent additional information instructions such as your ideal customer profile
  10. In the Automate this agent section, click Select trigger to configure a schedule on which this agent runs (Professional and Enterprise only).
  11. In the About this agent section, click Manage access to configure to limit who can edit and run the agent (e.g., Everyone can access and run this agent).
  12. In the Test the agent section, enter a question, then click Test agent to preview the agent's functionality.
  13. When you're finished, click Publish

Use the deal loss agent

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Breeze > Breeze Studio.
  2. Click Deal Loss Agent.
  3. In the Is there any specific question you'd like this agent to answer? text field, enter a question to get a specific answer. Otherwise the agent will provide general recommendations.
  4. Click Run agent.
  5. When it's finished, review the output. You can also manage the following:
    • Visual output: in the upper right, toggle the Visual Output switch off to view the output in markdown.
    • PDF: click Export PDF to download the output in PDF format.
    • Direct link: click Copy link to get a direct link to the specific output.

Please note: non Super Admin users can only view the agent runs they started.
