Configure customer success workspaces by team

Service Hub Enterprise
If your customer success organization includes multiple specialized teams, such onboarding specialists or renewal managers, you can create dedicated workspaces for each team.
You can set up the customer success workspace so that teams only see the information relevant to them, with tailored views of the General, Customers, Services, and Revenue tabs. This ensures the customer success workspace aligns with each team’s workflows and goals, helping them stay focused, efficient, and coordinated throughout the customer journey.

Permissions required Super Admin or Manage Customer Success permissions are required to create and edit workspaces.
Create a team workspace
You can create up to 5 workspaces. Each team can only be assigned to one workspace, but a single workspace can include multiple teams.
- In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.

In the left sidebar menu, click Customer Success.
- Navigate to the Workspaces tab.
- Click Create workspace.
- In the dialog box:
- Enter a workspace name and description.
- Click the teams dropdown menu and select the teams who will be using the workspace. Only users whose primary team is selected will be able to view the workspace.
- Click Create workspace.
- On the General settings page, continue setting up the workspace.
Set up the workspace
After creating your workspace, you’ll be redirected to the General settings page, where you can configure the workspace by navigating between the Customers, Services, and Revenue tabs. The settings you apply here will be shared by all teams assigned to the workspace.
General
- On the General tab, edit your workspace name and description.
- To add teams to the workspace, click the Teams dropdown menu and select a team.
- To remove a team, click the X next to the team's name in the Teams dropdown menu.
- In the bottom left, click Save.
Customers
- Navigate to the Customers tab.
- Click the dropdown menu to select the HubSpot user property you use to represent CSM assignment. The available properties will depend on the object you chose to represent your accounts
- You can also pick a date property you use to represent your customer renewal date. The available properties will depend on the object you chose to represent your accounts.
- In the bottom left, click Save.
Services
- Navigate to the Services tab.
- By default, the Services tab will be shown to all teams in the customer success workspace. To remove this tab from the workspace, toggle the Show the Services tab switch off.
- If you’ve chosen to show the Services tab, you can edit it’s configuration based on your teams needs.
- Click the dropdown menu and select the HubSpot user property you use to represent CSM assignment. The available properties will depend on the object you chose to represent your services.
- You can optionally pick a date property you use to represent your service's renewal date. The available properties will depend on the object you chose to represent your services.
- Click the dropdown menu to select pipelines.
- In the Advanced settings sections, configure your default pipeline selection and choose a default page layout.
- In the bottom left, click Save.
Revenue
- By default, the Revenue tab will be shown to all teams in the customer success workspace. To remove the revenue tab from the teams workspace, toggle the Show the Revenue tab switch off.
- Click the dropdown menu to select the HubSpot user property you use to represent CSM assignment. The available properties will depend on the object you chose to represent your revenue object.
- You can optionally pick a date property you use to represent your revenue object’s renewal date or end date. The available properties will depend on the object you chose to represent your services.
- Click the dropdown menu to select pipelines. These pipelines will be visible to your team in the Revenue tab.
- In the Default settings section, you can configure your default pipeline selection and choose a default page layout.
- In the bottom left, click Save.
Manage workspaces
- In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
- In the left sidebar menu, click Customer Success.
- Navigate to the Workspaces tab.
- To edit a workspace, hover over it and click Edit.
- To delete a workspace, hover over it and click Delete:
- In the dialog box, select the I understand that deleting this workspace cannot be undone.
- Click Delete.
