Last updated: July 14, 2025

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

Register your partner leads in HubSpot using the shared deal card on a contact, company or deal record. When you create a shared deal, it is automatically registered in HubSpot's CRM and assigned to a HubSpot sales representative.

Both the HubSpot sales representative and the partner will have visibility to comments, partner compensation eligibility, and associated products and quotes.

Understand requirements

  • To register an existing deal as a shared deal, the following conditions must be met:

    • As a partner, you must be under your capacity limit.
    • There must be a company and contact record associated with the deal record.

Create a shared deal

  1. Navigate to your contact or company records:
    • Contacts: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Contacts.
    • Companies: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Companies.
  2. Click the name of a contact or company.
  3. In the right column, click Add in the Shared deal section.
  4. In the right panel, enter the details of the shared deal. The sync behavior of different properties is as follows:
    • Deal name: the deal name will sync one-way to HubSpot. Once created, any changes made to the deal name will not sync between HubSpot and your account.
    • Pipeline: this property does not sync to HubSpot from your partner account.
    • Deal stage: this property does not sync to HubSpot from your partner account.
    • Close date: this property syncs to HubSpot. Once created, if the close date property is adjusted in HubSpot, this will sync to the Shared Selling card in your partner account.
    • HubSpot product interest: this property syncs both ways between HubSpot and your partner account.
    • Deal owner: this property does not sync between HubSpot and your partner account.
    • Deal team: this property syncs both ways between HubSpot and your partner account.
    • Associated company: this property will sync one-way to HubSpot.
    • Associated contact: this property will not sync to HubSpot.
