There are a few reasons why a contact might not appear in the Marketing Performance widget in your Dashboard:

  • New Contacts will not appear in your Marketing Performance widget in real-time.
    • Your portal's analytics update every 1-3 hours.
    • To check the last time analytics updated, navigate to Reports > Sources > scroll to the bottom of the page > 'Data Last Updated: X hours ago'.
  • Existing contacts that re-convert will not show up in the Marketing Performance widget.
    • The Marketing Performance widget shows the number of new Contacts that were added to your Contacts database in the time frame selected.
    • Ex. If a Contact submitted their first form in January and then submitted another form in March, they will appear on the Dashboard for January.
  • Imported Contacts will not appear in the Marketing Performance widget on your dashboard by default.
    • Imported Contacts are considered to have an 'Offline Source'.
    • To include Contacts that were added through an Offline Source this month (they did not submit a form on your website), hover your mouse over the Marketing Performance widget > check the box to 'Include Offline Sources'.
  • Contacts added through the Contacts API will not show up on the Marketing Performance widget on your dashboard by default.
    • Contacts added through the Contacts API (also used by the Salesforce Integration) are considered to have an 'Offline Source'
    • To include Contacts that were added through the Contacts API this month, click on the gear in the top right corner of the Dashboard > check the box to 'Include Offline Sources'.
    • Note: Contacts added through the Forms API should show up on the Dashboard (if the API is setup correctly to pass the usertoken).
