Organize your feedback surveys

Organize and analyze your feedback surveys in HubSpot using filtering, save views, and customizable columns. Review responses, and tailor your survey data to fit your team's workflow. 

View and organize records with filters, and save them as views to revisit later. You can access pre-built default HubSpot views and custom views you or others in your account have created.

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Service > Feedback Surveys.
  2. At the top of the page, navigate to one of the following:
    • Manage surveys: all surveys created in your account.
    • All survey responses: all survey responses you've received to your feedback surveys.
    • Feedback topics (BETA): all of the topics created to track themes of customer feedback across your feedback surveys.
    • Manage tags: all of the tags created for your feedback survey responses.

Please note: the page you navigate to will determine the available views or filtering options. For example, on the Manage tags page, you can only filter by Users.

  1. To open a pinned view, click a tab (e.g., All Surveys or Published).
  2. To open a saved view, click + Add view in the top right, then select a view from the dropdown menu. You can also view all available views, including both default and custom, by clicking All views.
  3. To locate a specific feedback survey, enter a search term in the search box in the top left of the view.
  4. To refine your search using filters, use the relevant filter dropdown menu (e.g., Type or Delivery).
    • Type: Customer support (CES), Customer satisfaction (CSAT), Custom survey, or Customer loyalty (NPS).
    • Delivery: chat, email, shareable link, or web. 
  5. To add quick filters, click + More, and then select a property.
  6. To refine your search using other filters, click Advanced filters. Learn more about filtering records and views

In feedback surveys, on the manage surveys page, a saved views advanced filters panel is displayed.

  1. To customize the feedback survey data displayed in the view, click Edit columns. You can select up to 10 columns. 
    • In the dialog box, select the checkbox next to the relevant options in the Column Options section.
    • To remove a column, click the X icon next to the relevant options in the Selected Columns section.
    • To remove all columns, click Remove all columns.
    • To reorder the columns, click the dragHandleIcon drag and drop icon and move the column up or down to change the position.
    • To remove all columns, click Remove all columns
    • When finished, click Apply

In feedback surveys, on the Manage Surveys page, the edit columns dialog box is displayed.

  1. To save the filters as a view, click the saveEditableViewIcon Save icon. This will update the filters and settings for the current view. For existing views, only the user that created the view will be able to save changes. If you can't save the changes to an existing view, you can clone it to create a new view with your filters.
