After connecting HubSpot and NetSuite, you can sync the NetSuite status bidirectionally between the two systems. To do so, you must first create a custom property in HubSpot, then set up a field mapping in the integration settings
Create a custom property in HubSpot
- In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Properties.
- Click the Select an object dropdown menu, then select Contact properties.
- In the upper right, click Create property.
- In the right panel, select the Object type and Group from the respective dropdown menus.
- In the Label field, enter NetSuite Status.
- Click Next.
- Click the Field type dropdown menu and select Dropdown select.
- In the Label field, enter all the property values from the Status field in NetSuite. The labels are case-sensitive and must match the values in NetSuite exactly.
- After you've entered all the labels, click Next.
- Select the checkbox if you want the property to show in forms, pop-up forms, and bots, then click Create.
- Repeat the steps above for company properties if needed.
Create a custom field mapping
You need a paid Operations Hub subscription to create a custom field mapping.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Data Management > Integrations.
- Click Netsuite.
- Click [Object] sync for the object sync you want to set up Status sync for.
- On the Configure tab, in the Mapped fields section, click + Add a mapping.
- Click the NetSuite dropdown menu and select Status.
- Click the HubSpot dropdown menu and select the newly created custom property.
Please note: if you have already set up the object sync between HubSpot and NetSuite, records will only sync after they're updated in either system.
