Use the social tool to manage your social media engagements with your audience. Someone on your team should spend a few minutes every day examining new interactions, conversations, followers, and stream matches.
Navigate to social monitoring
In your HubSpot Marketing Basic, Professional, or Enterprise account, navigate to Social > Monitoring.
Filter accountsThe social tool can be customized to show various types of engagement from your connected social media accounts. By default, social monitoring will include the available engagement information from all of your connected social media accounts. You can filter for data from a particular account by clicking the All accounts
You can reply to conversations directly from within HubSpot. You can also set up Twitter streams to receive notifications when social media users are engaging in a conversation that you would like to join.
Identify interaction generating content
Interactions are any "click-like" engagements with your content that has been published via HubSpot. Examples include retweets, favorites, likes, and +1s. HubSpot will only show interactions that can be associated with a user.
To filter for interactions only, click Interactions in the left sidebar menu.
Click the number of reactions to see a list of people who reacted. Click the post or tweet link to see more information about your post. If a particular post has received a lot of interactions from your audience, you may want to publish more similar content or engage in a conversation with your audience.
Click your new follower's name to expand their social profile. If the follower is a contact in your HubSpot account, you'll see the email address and lifecycle stage of the contact, as well as a View HubSpot Contact link, which will bring you directly to the contact record. Below that, you'll find more details about the contact's social media account(s) and information about previous interactions they've had with your business.
Check for any stream matches
Below your Inbox streams you'll find your Twitter Streams. These streams can help you find conversations happening on Twitter that are relevant to your business. Click the name of a stream to see tweets that match the criteria of the stream. You can learn more about creating Twitter streams here.
