How do I delete a task in the CRM?

You can delete a task in the HubSpot CRM from an individual contact, company, or deal record or from the tasks dashboard. 

From a contact, company, or deal record

  • In your HubSpot Sales account, navigate to ContactsCompanies, or Deals
  • Click on the name of the contact, company, or deal with which the task is associated.
  • Find the task on the record's activity timeline (if tasks do not appear, click on the Filter timeline dropdown menu and check the box next to tasks). Click Actions > Delete.
  • In the pop-up window that appears, confirm you want to delete your task by clicking Delete once more.

From the tasks dashboard

  • In your HubSpot Sales account, navigate to Tasks.
  • Click on the name of the task in the table or board view.
  • An editor will appear on the right-hand side. Click Delete this task at the bottom of the window.
  • In the pop-up window that appears, confirm you want to delete your task by clicking Delete once more.
