Analyze form submission reports

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

Analyze your forms with pre-configured reports built for tracking form submission data. With this feature, you can track form submission data and save the reports to the report library or your custom dashboards. You can also generate AI insights to review form trends and recommendations.

Before you get started 

Before you begin working with this feature, make sure to fully understand the requirements and data considerations. 

Understand requirements

To generate AI insights for your reports, you must turn on the Give users access to Copilot setting. Learn how to manage your AI settings.

Please note: Please avoid sharing any sensitive information in your enabled data inputs for AI features, including your prompts. Admins can configure generative AI features in account management settings. Understand form submission data considerations 

The form submission count measures the total number of form submissions and will be updated each time a form is submitted. If a single contact submits the same form multiple times, the submission count may be higher than the number of unique contacts.

Review form submission reports 

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Forms.

  2. At the top, click the Analyze tab.
  3. To filter the report data, in the top left, you can select from the following quick filters in the top left:
    • Date range: filter based on the date that the form was submitted. 
    • Form name: filter based on specific form names. 
    • Contact lifecycle stage: filter based on the different stages of the contact’s lifecycle. 
  4. To apply a custom filter, in the top, click filter Advanced filters.
    • Click + Add filter.
    • Search for or select your property.
    • In the dropdown menu, select the filter criteria.
    • At the bottom, click Apply filter
  5. To edit a form submission report, hover over the report and click the filter View and filter icon. Learn more about how to use the report viewer

Save form submission reports and dashboards 

You can save individual form submissions reports to your report library or dashboards. You can also create a custom dashboard using the pre-configured form submission reports.

Save form submission reports

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Forms.
  2. At the top, click the Analyze tab.
  3. Hover over the report and click the filter View and filter icon.
  4. At the bottom of the report viewer, click Save report.
  5. In the right panel, configure the following report details:
    • Enter a report name.
    • Enter a description of the report. 
    • Under Add this report to a dashboard, select the radio button to confirm whether you'd like to add the report to a dashboard:
      • Don't add to dashboard: your report won't be added to a dashboard. Instead, it'll be saved in your report library so you can use it later.
      • Add to existing dashboard: you can select an existing dashboard to add the report to. When you select this option, you can select the dashboard from the dropdown menu
      • Add to new dashboard: you can create a new custom dashboard and add the form report to the new dashboard. When you select this option, you'll be prompted to enter a Dashboard name in the following step.
    • In the bottom right, click Next or Save & add if you’re adding the report to an existing dashboard. 
    • If you aren’t adding the report to a dashboard, or you’re creating a new dashboard, under Who can access this report, select the radio button to set the report access
      • Reports that are added to existing dashboards will be controlled by the dashboard's access settings. 
    • In the bottom right, click Save or Save & add if you're adding the report to a dashboard. 

Create form submission dashboards

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Forms.
  2. At the top, click the Analyze tab.
  3. In the top right, click Actions and select Save dashboard
  4. In the right panel, under Reports included in this dashboard, select the checkboxes to select the reports to include. 
  5. At the bottom right, click Next.
  6. Enter a report name.
  7. Under Who can access this dashboard?, select the radio button to select the users or teams that can access the new dashboard. 
  8. At the bottom, click Create dashboard. Learn more about how to manage your dashboard
