Can I make an inclusion list for records in Salesforce?

An inclusion list dictates which contacts in HubSpot are allowed to sync from HubSpot to Salesforce.

Contacts that are not on the inclusion list in HubSpot will not sync to Salesforce unless changes are made in HubSpot to cause the contact to meet the criteria of the list.

Because a contact cannot be evaluated against HubSpot criteria (set up in your inclusion list) until they exist in HubSpot, inclusion lists cannot prevent Salesforce records from being created in HubSpot when the auto-add setting is enabled.

Some things to remember regarding inclusion lists and Salesforce:

  • If the auto-add setting is turned on, new leads/contacts created in Salesforce will be created in HubSpot regardless of inclusion list criteria.
  • After the initial sync from Salesforce, contacts that do not meet the inclusion list criteria will not receive updates from Salesforce until they are edited in HubSpot to meet the list criteria.
