Via HubSpot's Social Publishing tool, you can post messages to social media channels you have connected to your HubSpot portal. However, there are times when such posting proves unsuccessful. Please find below the most common errors and further details you can use as you attempt to resolve such errors.
- Image rejected - Please ensure that your image is below the size limit and within the size parameters recommended for the social network you're trying to post to. Also, be sure to check that the picture's file format is JPEG or PNG and that the URL where the image is being hosted is still live. When attaching an image to your social message, we strongly recommend using an image that is featured in the page you're sharing.
- Authorization failed - Make sure that your account still has posting authorized for the HubSpot App. An easy way to ensure that your social account is currently authorized is to re-authorize it from the Social Settings page (don't delete it, just connect the account again).
- 3rd Party Network issue - Even APIs sometimes have bad days, once you've checked that your image and account are working, go ahead and clone your social message and try posting it again.
