Use meeting outcomes (BETA)

For each meeting you schedule, you can select a meeting outcome to categorize and track your engagement with your contacts. You can assign a meeting outcome after you schedule a meeting using HubSpot's calendar sync with Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar, or when a contact books using a meeting link.

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Contacts > Contacts.
  • Click the name of a record.
  • To view only the contact's meeting engagements, at the top of the record, click the Filter activity dropdown menu. Clear the Select all checkbox, then select Meetings


  • Hover over a meeting engagement and click Edit.


  • Click the Outcome dropdown menu and select a meeting outcome. You can choose one of the following values:
    • None
    • Scheduled
    • Completed
    • Rescheduled
    • No show
    • Canceled


  • Click Save. If you selected to add this event to your integrated Google Calendar or Office 365 calendar, click Save and send updates.

If you need to log a meeting that already occurred, you can log the meeting as an activity. When logging the activity, you can select a meeting outcome before saving the activity to the timeline.

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Contacts > Contacts.
  • Click the name of a record.
  • In the left panel, click the Log icon add and select Log a meeting
  • Edit the meeting attendees, meeting type, date, and time of the meeting. To add a meeting outcome, click the Outcome dropdown menu and select an outcome
  • Click Log activity

To add an outcome to a previously logged meeting activity, locate the logged activity on the timeline and click the Outcome dropdown menu.
