View and filter activities on a record

You can filter by type, users, and teams to display specific activities on the Activities tab or cards on a record. The Activities tab is included by default on a record and the selected filters apply to all records for that object. Activity cards can be added to the middle column of records in your object settings.
View and filter activities on the Activities tab
The Activities tab is included by default on a record and shows all activities for a record. The selected activities and filters apply to all records for that object and are unique to each user.
- Navigate to your records:
- Contacts: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Contacts.
- Companies: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Companies.
- Deals: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Deals.
- Tickets: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Tickets.
- Custom objects: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM, then select the custom object.
- Click the name of a record.
- In the middle panel, click the Activities tab, then click the Filter activity dropdown menu.
- To include an activity type on the timeline, select the corresponding checkbox. Select the Select all checkbox to select all activity types.
- To filter engagement activities created by or assigned to specific users or teams, click the All users or All teams dropdown menus and select a user or team. User and team filters will not be applied to other records of that object.
- For fast filtering, click the Notes, Emails, Calls, Tasks, and Meetings tabs in the middle panel to see only the respective activity types.

View and filter activities on cards
Activity cards can be added to your records and sidebars in your object settings. The standard activity cards include:
- Recent activities: displays the three most recent activities.
- Upcoming activities: displays the three nearest upcoming activities.
- Allbound timeline: displays activities in a calendar view, broken down by the direction of the activity (i.e. inbound or outbound).
You can also create custom activity totals cards.
To access and use the default activity cards, you'll need to add them to your record view. If the cards are included on your records:- Navigate to your records:
- Contacts: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Contacts.
- Companies: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Companies.
- Deals: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Deals.
- Tickets: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Tickets.
- Custom objects: In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM, then select the custom object.
- Click the name of a record.
- Navigate to the tab with the cards, then scroll to the Recent activities, Upcoming activities, or Allbound Timeline card.
- To view specific activity types, click the Filter by dropdown menu, then select or clear the checkboxes next to the desired activities.
- To expand or collapse an activity, click the right arrow to expand and the down arrow to collapse. To expand or collapse all activities on the card, click Collapse all, then select Expand all or Collapse all.
- To edit an activity, expand the activity, then edit its details.
- To view all details for an activity, expand the activity, then click View full activity.
- To view activities within a specific time frame, click All time, then select a time frame.
- To view specific activity types, click All activities, then select or clear the checkboxes next to the desired activities.
- To filter by the user or team that assigned to the activity, click Activity assigned to then select checkboxes of specific users, or click HubSpot Team and select the checkboxes of specific teams. Select Unassigned to include only activities without owners.
- To clear filters, click Clear all.
- To view previous or future weeks, scroll left and right or click the left and right arrows. Click Today to return the calendar to the current day.
- To view more details about an activity, click the activity, then review it in the right panel.
