Manage tasks in the sales workspace

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

Sales Hub   Professional , Enterprise

If you have an assigned Sales Hub seat you can manage tasks from within the sales workspace. You can filter, create, edit, and complete tasks from the Tasks tab. You can also complete your tasks using guided execution (BETA)

View and filter tasks 

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Sales > Sales Workspace.
  • Click the Tasks tab.
  • On the left sidebar you can view your preset views and saved views. To change the view, click the Preset view or Saved view..
  • To change the view of the tasks, click the grid board icon. 
  • To filter your tasks, click the filters at the top of the table. Click Advanced filters to further customize your filters. You can also create a view from your filters.

Please note: only users can create views from the Tasks tab. This feature is not available to Super Admins.

Create, complete, edit, or delete tasks

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Sales > Sales Workspace.
  • Click the Tasks tab.
  • To create a task, click Create Task.
  • To edit or delete a task, hover over the task and click Edit.

    • In the right panel, edit the details for your task and click Save.
    • To delete, at the bottom of the panel, click Delete. In the dialog box, click Delete to confirm.
  • To complete a task, click the checkmark to the left of the task.

  • To complete, edit, or delete queues in bulk:
    • Select the checkboxes next to the tasks. To select all of the tasks on your current page, select the Select all checkbox at the top left of the table. To select all of the records in the filter, select the Select all checkbox, then click the Select all [number] records link.
    • At the top of the table, select the action you want to take:
      • Start X Task: the selected tasks will open in guided execution (BETA)
      • Mark as completed: the selected tasks will be marked as complete.
      • Make as incomplete: the selected tasks will be marked as incomplete.
      • Assign: in the dialog box, click the Assign to dropdown menu and select the owner you want to assign the tasks to. Then click Update.
      • Edit: in the dialog box, click the Property to update dropdown menu and select the property you want to edit. Enter or select the updated value and click Save
      • Delete: in the dialog box, click Delete. The selected tasks will be deleted.
  • You can also click Start All at the top to start all your tasks using guided execution (BETA)
