Add comments to your draft or scheduled social posts to collaborate with your team and ask for feedback. You cannot add comments when creating a new post in the social tool.
When a comment is added, a notification email will be sent to the user that created the social post and any users or teams mentioned in the comment. Learn more about comment notification emails.
To add a comment on your post:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Drafts or Scheduled.
- Hover over the social post that you want to comment on, then click Edit.
- By default, the collaboration sidebar will display on the right. You can click and drag the verticalMenuicon to reposition the collaboration sidebar.
- From the collaboration sidebar, click the comments ccomment icon.
- If there are unread comments, the number of unread comments will be displayed on the comment icon.
- Any new comments will be tagged New. New comments in threads will also automatically display.
- In the comment field, type your comment. Use the rich text toolbar to format your text. To notify a teammate of your comment, type the @ symbol, then enter the user's name.
- To save your comment, click Comment. After adding your comment, learn how to reply, edit, delete, and resolve your comments.
- To exit the collaboration sidebar, at the top of the right panel, click the X icon.
Please note: after publishing a social post, any comments will no longer appear. It is not possible to view comments in a published social post.
