Use associated record data in workflows (BETA)

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

Marketing Hub Professional, Enterprise
Sales Hub Professional, Enterprise
Service Hub Professional, Enterprise
Operations Hub Professional, Enterprise
CMS Hub Professional, Enterprise

Access and use data from enrolled records and their associated objects in your workflow actions. 

    • Send in app notification.
    • Value equals branch.
    • Set property value (when setting text properties).
    • Copy property.
    • Create record (when setting text properties).
    • Send Slack notification (requires Slack integration).
    • Format data (requires OHP).
    • Webhook (requires OHP).
  • In the left panel, in the Available data section, click +Add data source.

  • In the right panel, click the Which record type? dropdown menu to select another data source.

  • Configure the data source's set up, then click Add.
  • When creating your action you will be able to use data from each of the data sources you have selected. For example, below, data is being used from both the deal record and the associated contact and company to send an in-app notification to the deal owner:

  • When you have finished configuring the action, click Save in the top left of the panel.
  • Continue adding actions to your workflow as needed. Any data sources already added will be available to use in any of the actions where the data panel is available.
  • Configure the workflows settings, and when you're happy with your setup you can review and publish the workflow.
