Why did all references to "Account" in my portal change to "Company"?

As of June 23 all references to "Account" in portals syncing with the Account Object in Salesforce have been changed to "Company."

  • There is no functional change.
    • Data will continue to flow between your HubSpot portal and Salesforce org as previously configured.
  • You will see this language change on the following screens:
    • Contact Record
    • Contact Settings
      • Properties Section
      • Salesforce Connector Section
    • List Editor
    • Workflow Actions
    • Landing Page, Site Page, and Email Editors

As previously noted, this is merely a language change and has no bearing on the integrity of your data.
