Create company-based, deal-based, ticket-based, or quote-based workflows

Create company-based, deal-based (Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise only), ticket-based (Service Hub Professional and Enterprise only), or quote-based workflows (Sales Hub Enterprise only) to enroll and take action on objects or any of their associated records. Learn how to create contact-based workflows.
  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automation > Workflows.
  • In the upper right, click Create workflow.
  • In the left panel, select Company-based, Deal-based, Ticket-based, or Quote-based as your workflow type.
  • Click the pencil icon edit to give your workflow a name, then click Create workflow.

  • In the workflow editor, click Set enrollment triggers. Learn more about setting enrollment triggers in workflows.
  • In the right panel, Trigger tab, select a filter type for your enrollment trigger. Set up the criteria, then click Apply filter.
  • By default, objects will only be enrolled in a workflow the first time they meet the enrollment triggers. Learn more about adding re-enrollment triggers to workflows.
    • To enable re-enrollment, click the Re-enrollment tab.
    • Click to toggle the Re-enrollment switch on.
    • Select the trigger(s) you want to use for re-enrollment.
  • Add more enrollment triggers if needed.
  • When you're done, click Save.

  • Set up the details of the action, then click Save.
  • Click the plus icon + to add more workflow actions.

  • Next, click the Settings tab.
  • In the Suppressions section, no unenrollment triggers are set by default. To unenroll objects that meet certain criteria from the workflow, click Set unenrollment triggers. Learn more about unenrollment triggers in workflows.

    • In the right pane, select an object or associated record property for your unenrollment trigger. Set up the criteria, then click Apply filter.
    • Add more unenrollment triggers if needed. When you're done, click Save.
  • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Timing.
  • In the Timing section, Any time is selected by default. To specify times for the actions to take place, select Specific times.
    • Select the day(s) for the actions to take place.
    • Under each selected day, click the first dropdown menu and select the time actions should start taking place. Click the second dropdown menu and select the time the actions should stop taking place.
  • In the upper right, click Review.
  • Choose if you want to enroll existing objects:
    • To enroll objects that meet the enrollment triggers only after the workflow is turned on, select No, only enroll [objects] which meet the trigger criteria after turning the workflow on.
    • To enroll existing objects that meet the enrollment triggers, select Yes, enroll existing [objects] which meet the trigger criteria as of now.

  • Review the other workflow settings, then click Turn on.
  • In the dialog box, click Yes, turn on.
