When 'Business days only (M-F)' is set for the "What Days do you want actions to execute?" setting on a workflow, the workflow will not perform an action on weekends. Actions will only execute Mondays-Fridays.
Weekends still count towards the timing of the workflow.
- For example, if the the contact enrolls in the workflow on Friday and there is a 3 day delay before the first action, the action will execute on Monday (HubSpot counts Saturday as day 1 and Sunday as day 2).
If the execution of an action is scheduled for a weekend day, HubSpot will defer execution to the same time on Monday.
- For example, if the contact enrolls in the workflow on Thursday and there is a 2 day delay before the first action, the action will execute on Monday. (HubSpot counts Friday as day 1 and Saturday as day 2, but because Saturday is not a business day, the email will not be sent until Monday).
Please note: the 'execute actions on business days only' setting does not prevent steps from occurring on holidays.
