An overview of calling

Your HubSpot Sales calling tool lets you reach your best prospects in just a few clicks. No need to touch a phone - HubSpot connects you right from your browser and even records the call if you choose. At the end of your call, everything is automatically logged into your HubSpot CRM or Salesforce.

Placing calls

You can place calls directly on any contact record in the CRM. Navigate to a contact record and click the Call tab. 

Calling gives you full control over your outgoing calls. You can register multiple phone numbers, and before placing a call, you'll have the option to select your outgoing number.

You also have the option to call from your browser or through your phone. The call will be recorded automatically unless you are calling a two-party consent state/country. In those cases, you can enable recording manually.

Call queue

You can create a call queue in the CRM, which allows you to preselect contacts you would like to call in a row. To create a call queue, navigate to Task within your HubSpot Sales account and click Add a queue.

Next, navigate to Contacts. Choose the contacts you would like to call by selecting the checkbox next to their record. Click the More dropdown menu and select Create tasks. Add the details for your tasks, change the type to Call, and select the queue you just created.

When you're ready to begin calling your contacts, navigate back to Tasks, select your queue from the left sidebar menu, and click Start queue. For more information on creating a call queue, check out this article.
