With HubSpot Sales Professional, you can track clicks on URLs that have been formatted as hyperlinks when sending tracked emails in your email client (e.g. Gmail, Outlook) or the HubSpot CRM.
Tracking will only occur for clicks on hyperlinked text, and not raw URLs (e.g. www.hubspot.com). Before sending your email, confirm that you've added your link(s) as hyperlinked text; by default, it will typically appear blue and underlined. See examples of hyperlinked text below:
If a raw URL that is not clickable is added into an email (e.g. www.hubspot.com), the link will not be tracked.
If you would like to test link tracking, click the link from an email client and browser that do not have HubSpot Sales installed; otherwise, the click notification will be suppressed. This functionality is in place so that you don't receive notifications when you click your own links; it does not apply to other recipients of your email who may have HubSpot Sales installed.
